The Paysho Marketplace is like an online shopping mall that connects shoppers and sellers from all over South Africa to transact directly. Paysho does not produce, house or ship any inventory; instead, each seller lists their items for sale, and shoppers purchase goods straight from the seller.

In a nutshell, the Paysho Marketplace works as follows:
  1. Browse the Paysho Marketplace
  2. Select chosen item(s) and add them to your shopping basket
  3. Make payment via Paysho’s secure payment platform
  4. The seller receives your order and ships it out
  5. Buyer receives the item(s) and confirms that they are happy with them
  6. Paysho releases the payment to the seller

Paysho does not keep any inventory, nor do we facilitate the shipping of items. Shipping can be negotiated between the Buyer and the Seller at the beginning of the transaction. When the Seller sends the goods to the Buyer, they will be required to supply both the Buyer and Paysho with the tracking details for the parcel. That way, all parties will know exactly where the parcel is at any given moment.

What do I do if I have a problem with my transaction?

If your item hasn't arrived or isn't as described, first try to contact the seller. Most sellers are happy to resolve any issues you may have, so give them a chance to make it right for you. Should an issue arise during the course of a transaction, Paysho encourages buyer and seller to work out a resolution that is satisfactory to both parties. We are invested in making sure that we remove any sellers from our marketplace who are not performing up to your (and our) expectations.

Paysho will not release any fees to neither the buyer nor the seller until both parties find a solution they are both happy with. If an agreement between the parties cannot be reached, Paysho will release any fees in our possession only on the instruction of a legal body.

Paysho charges a flat rate of R59 per transaction. This is fee is paid by the seller.
